Timperley Bigshorts was a Sunday league football team formed by Chris with help from his pal Simon Heywood. In 1990 they were elected to the Manchester Publicity League. There were some sideline chanting from Frank taunting the away fans such as "you're going home on an organised football coach"

for the first two seasons Chris produced an eight page match programme a6 size of Frank and team features. With very small crowds (less than 50) the programmes were produced in even smaller numbers. For later seasons the format was changed to a5 size.
